Day 1: October 1, 2016


I'll have to admit; My first day going vegan was tough. I began my day with toast (not vegan lol) with avocado and fruit. I thought I was on the right track until later realizing bread is not frekin vegan! I also had vegan wraps later on at Nicole's P.I.N.K in the City event.

The issue came later when I found myself on the road and couldn't find anything fast that could satisfy my hunger. At the moment, I realized "this shit is about to get real"!!! I commend myself for thugging it out and grabbing some waffle fries and a superfood side salad from Chick-Fil-A. Surprisingly, I didn't have any cravings for anything else. I felt committed, but I also know this journey won't be easy.

I can't end this entry without thanking ALL my accountability partners who I encountered yesterday! Your words of encouragement, recipes, and take-out ideas helped me to realize that I have a plethora of options and I also have lots of people rooting for me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Let's keep this thing going!
